Here is place for various common and specialized remote sensing tasks and examples. Remote sensing is what I spend the majority of my time doing. My primary modalities of remote sensing are in the optical domain; this includes active laser remote sensing, passive multispectral & hyperspectral, as well as thermal sensors.

    Although the data referenced in here is stored as columnar parquet files, there is a compatible raster rotation of the tessalation that keeps the same indexing and nesting structure. Tiling 2 and 3 dimensional arrays at defined chunk intervals may be an elegent way for data fusion across gridded and non-gridded large environmental data sets.
